Miscellaneous Pictures:

Someone decided that an old garbage can would function as a hat for the chimney.

This is an inside view of an extremely dirty heating duct. Routine cleaning of ductwork is recommended.

This build-up of efflorescence (masonry salts leaching out of the bricks/mortar) is from a chimney in very poor condition at the exterior which has allowed water into the chimney structure.

This screened air intake has become completely clogged with lint. These intakes should be maintained free of lint.

Some doors are beyond repair!
Over time, chimneys can be destroyed by Gas appliance condensate if not properly lined.
