Stories

Below is a list of my “collection” of farm stories—and some other stories and poems as well.

Buell Drive

Buell Drive, Eastford, Conn

Enjoy—and please leave a comment at the end of the story if you want to—anonymous or otherwise is OK.

The farm stories are very loosely based on my growing up on a farm in rural Connecticut in the 50′s.  I like to think of them as being more truthful than factual—but who can really tell as time has a way of altering what we remember—and remembering what we alter.

The Farm Stories:

Two Boys, a Pony and a Wagon

Light in the Woods (A children’s story for adult children)

Mummies in the Haymow

Henry and the Dinosaur

o

Other stories: (Henry had to amount to something someday)

The Far Side of the Attic

The Red Blouse

The Princess

Sandalwood, Coffee and Angels

The Interview

Life is MUCH Shorter Than Anyone Ever Knows

A Turtle’s Journey—a Biker’s Apology.

The Red Boat

Dad and His Plum Tree

Mother Nature is a Hottie!

Philosophy/Politics:

A “Poli-sophical” Rant

Make the most of life—or not!

If you enjoyed these stories and would like to share them—feel free.  This is a bit of an experiment of casting something into cyber-space to see what happens.  I just ask that you do NOT do a “bulk-share” like on Facebook, Twitter, or your entire email address book—keep it personal—real.  Just copy and paste the URL: http://www.buellinspections.com/farm-stories and send it to whomever you think might appreciate the stories.
