The lights are on but nobody’s home!

Lowly home inspector:

So how is it that you came to install that receptacle the way that you did?

Handy electrical installation person:

Why, what is the problem?  Should be fine–I even put has tape on it.

Lowly home inspector:

But it is subject to mechanical damage and someone might get a shock in spite of the nice tape job.

Handy electrical installation person:

Well I would have put it on the other side but there was no hole in the cover—and there was such a nice one in the back of the box.

Lowly home inspector:

You do know that it is not wired properly don’t you?

Handy electrical installation person:

It works!

Lowly home inspector:

AARRRGGGGHHHHH!
